Say hello to Jason from Runjack! He brings a rare mix of genuine curiosity and calm to any situation, and thrives when he can remove complexity for a business or team. He was one of our first clients to receive a Dapper brand book back in 2021, and we’re thrilled to welcome him as a strategic partner.
What’s your one line elevator pitch?
We help businesses fix disconnected growth so marketing, systems, and people actually work together. The goal is simple growth that makes sense and is easier to manage.
Why are you passionate about what you do?
Because growth should not feel this hard or confusing. I spend a lot of time speaking to founders who are doing the right things but still feel stuck because people and processes don’t talk to each other. Helping them reconnect the pieces, remove friction, and regain clarity is what keeps me motivated.
Who is your ideal customer?
Founder led businesses who are already investing in marketing and tools but feel like progress is slower than it should be. They know something is off, but cannot quite see where the problem sits, and they want a partner who can help them figure that out properly.
What can Dapper clients expect in a discovery call with you?
A calm, honest conversation focused on understanding how their business really works today. We will talk through their customers’ journey, where leads drop off, where systems break, what is creating unnecessary friction and what can be automated. The aim here is clarity first, not selling.
Tell us a bit about your career to date?
I started my career in education, teaching life skills. That was where I first realised how much I cared about creativity, communication, and helping people see things differently. It also gave me a strong foundation in explaining complex ideas in simple ways, which still shapes how I work today.
From there, I moved into digital media and marketing very early on, co-founding one of my first digital studios before platforms like WordPress even existed. We built websites from scratch, produced corporate videos, and helped businesses understand what digital could do for them. That studio was later acquired, and I went on to lead digital marketing and social media teams.
Over the next several years, I worked across brand, content, and digital strategy roles, both locally and internationally. I helped scale personal brands, including establishing a global audience for a YouTube creator, launching digital products, and speaking at industry events. I also worked with international organisations, building digital learning platforms, eCommerce memberships, and content programmes for large international brands.
In 2011, I founded Floeo, which I ran for over 13 years. Floeo became a creative and strategic studio working across campaigns, websites, video, and content for brands in many industries. It was a long chapter of building teams, working closely with clients, and learning what actually drives results over time.
That experience eventually led to Runjack. After years of seeing the same problems repeat, disconnected marketing, underused systems, and growth that felt harder than it should, I co-founded Runjack (with my business partner Dominique) to focus on something different. Today, my work is about helping businesses connect strategy, marketing, automation, and people in a way that actually supports how they run day to day.
What brings you joy/ energises you?
Outside of work, which definitely energises me – my family is a huge source of grounding and energy. Time with my wife and 3 boys helps keep my perspective sharp and honest. I also need to get outside. Whether it is being active, outdoors, or just away from screens, that space is where a lot of my best thinking actually happens. It is often where ideas connect and clarity shows up without forcing it.
I enjoy taking complexity and turning it into something clear and calm. Seeing a business go from frustrated to confident because things finally make sense is deeply rewarding.
What do you enjoy about collaborating with Dapper?
Dapper approaches work with care and intention. We are aligned in how we think about people, clarity, and long term value, which makes collaboration feel natural and genuinely useful for clients.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
Most people do not know this, but I am constantly running quiet experiments in my head. I will change one small thing and watch what happens. At work. In conversations. Even in how a day flows. I am fascinated by how tiny shifts create outsized results, and once you see that, you cannot unsee it.
I have also flown planes, raced cars and jumped off bridges. I tell my boys often: “On the other side of fear is freedom”.
Oh and I’m writing a book. 🙂
