At Dapper, we believe in the power of meaningful connections, which is why we’re proud to partner with TINKWE, a PR and communications consultancy that truly brings the human to PR. Founded by Lexi Hall, TINKWE goes beyond traditional public relations – they are storytellers, strategists, and dedicated partners, helping brands build real connections through thoughtful and authentic communication.
In this Q&A, we speak with Lexi to explore her passion for PR, the ethos behind TINKWE, and how she collaborates with us to support our clients.
What’s your one-line elevator pitch?
We bring the human to PR
We’re not just a public relations and communications consultancy – we’re storytellers, strategists, and your partners in building real connections.
Why are you passionate about what you do?
It’s simple. I love connecting people and helping them to solve problems by sharing their stories. We love it when we can simply be an extension of our client’s marketing team and get really stuck in. Working with clients who are doing great work and doing meaningful things is what I love the most about it. And I love the variety of clients that we have… I learn so much from our clients every day.
Who is your ideal customer?
Small to medium companies who want to achieve credibility, relevance and awareness in their industries. Our favourite clients are those who understand the importance of third-party endorsements, word of mouth, and those who are passionate about what they do.
What can Dapper clients expect in a discovery call with you?
A deep dive into what their key problems are with finding new business, creating awareness and building credibility for their brand/company within their target market. We can then very quickly work out how to solve these problems and identify the key stories that they should be telling and how to do so. Essentially all they need to do is talk and we will mine the real gems and opportunities in just a few minutes. There is always a great story to be found and one that people will find interesting.
Tell us a bit about your career to date?
Before I started my business, I worked for 7 years in the advertising world; world which was busy, crazy, fun and taught me so much! It was during this time that I was inspired to go out on my own and to start my own business, one in which I could be the master of my own time, choose my clients and essentially control my destiny.
TINKWE was established in 2015 and has since put more than 110 brands on the map so that they get seen, heard, and talked about – in all the right ways. The name TINKWE is a playful fusion of my childhood nickname, Tink, and my Zimbabwean roots, a nod to the foundation of my journey.
As the youngest of five, I quickly learned that if I wanted to be heard at the dinner table, I’d need a great story – and an even better hook. It was my first taste of PR, long before I knew what a press release was. Now, as a mother of three, I find myself and my team crafting clear, intentional communication on demand – whether for clients or tiny, highly opinionated audiences at home!
With more than 20 years in PR and marketing, I have worked with brands across industries, refining consumer insights, communication strategies, digital marketing, and relationship management. I have grown TINKWE from a solo venture into a dynamic agency with a team that thrives on storytelling with impact. From boardrooms to bedtime stories, I know that great narratives make all the difference.

What do you enjoy about collaborating with Dapper?
We really enjoy collaborating with Dapper as we have so many shared values and, although we play in a similar space, we know that what we each do really complements the other. Our meetings are always full of interesting chats, inspirational stories, innovative ideas and ,don’t forget, a detailed action list. We are really loving walking this journey together.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I was once a ski instructor in Aspen Colorado… where I taught many famous kids how to ski… and sometimes (but not always) in a Spongebob Squarepants outfit.
It’s clear that Lexi and the team at TINKWE bring a thoughtful, human-first approach to PR, making them an invaluable partner in helping our clients share their stories in a meaningful way. If you’re looking for strategic, creative, and impactful ways to elevate your brand, we’d love to chat. Get in touch with us at Dapper to learn more about how we can work together to bring your vision to life.
