Q&A with Amy Daley

We’re thrilled to  officially welcome Amy Daley to Team Dapper as our Head of Growth & Client Service. As a former Brand Alchemy client, Amy brings a client’s-eye view of our work and deep expertise in corporate operations management. She’s hit the ground running – but we found a moment to pause and connect with her and share here, what makes her tick in her new role.

What’s the most interesting aspect of your new role as Head of Growth at Dapper?

The most interesting aspect is the opportunity to shape my role from the ground up. Dapper’s philosophy is all about creating a space for growth, and I get to live that every day. From my experience on the transformative Brand Alchemy flagship course, I know firsthand just how powerful this work is. I’m excited to bring that perspective to every new challenge and live the Dapper purpose of how personal discovery meets professional brand development.

Why are you passionate about what you do?

I have a deep passion for fostering growth and development in people, helping them become the best version of themselves. In my previous role as a Chief Operations Officer, the greatest joy came from seeing my team members develop their skills and grow as professionals. At Dapper, I’m able to bring this core purpose to life on a broader scale. I get to help clients unlock their potential and build brands that truly represent who they are, which is incredibly rewarding.

What can potential Dapper clients expect in a discovery call with you?

A discovery call with me is all about listening and understanding. We’ll talk about your unique challenges, your ideal future, and what you’re hoping to achieve through professional brand building – for you and your team. My aim is to have an open, honest conversation so we can explore how Dapper can help you build a brand that truly represents who you are and gets you to where you want to be.

Tell us a bit about your career to date?

I’ve spent over 20 years dedicated to strategic thinking and business growth, centered on the powerful intersection of brands and people. My career has been a dynamic journey across various industries, from marketing and sports to sponsorship and research. In every role, my focus has been on developing and executing strategies to drive growth, be it for brands or for the business internally and operationally.

My entrepreneurial journey, which started over nine years ago when I established an Athlete and Influencer Brand Management Business, further sharpened my skills in business growth from the ground up. I’ve also found immense satisfaction in managing and leading teams, helping them not only grow as individuals but also contribute to the overall growth of the business.

All of these experiences have given me a unique perspective and the insights needed to empower each Dapper client to develop a powerful brand and achieve their growth objectives.

What brings you joy/ energises you?

My energy comes from a balance between physical activity, being in nature, and spending quality time with my family. I love starting my mornings with a strength workout, followed by a walk or jog along the beautiful cliff paths. There’s nothing like being outdoors, whether I’m hiking or just enjoying a quiet evening,  to clear my mind.

Outside of that, I find real joy in the simple pleasures I share with my family. I’m a lifelong learner at heart and get a real kick out of exploring new places and listening to podcasts. And, of course, I’m always up for a good dance-off with my four-year-old daughter. It’s a combination of all these things that keeps me grounded and energised.

What do you enjoy most about being part of Team Dapper?

What I enjoy most about being part of Team Dapper is the people. It’s truly inspiring to be surrounded by the best in the industry, including our visionary co-founders, Emma and Lindsay. The entire team is so talented and supportive.

Beyond the people, I love the company’s culture. Dapper isn’t just a workplace; it’s a space for personal and professional discovery, where we’re all empowered to grow and truly make a difference for our clients. The flexibility to work from home and manage my own day is a huge bonus, and it’s a testament to the trust and respect the company has for its team members.

Tell us something not many people know about you?

A fun fact that not many people know about me is that in my younger days, I could rap the lyrics to almost every Eminem song. I probably can’t manage it today, but it was a great party trick back then.
